As Chief Strategy Officer for Beth Israel Lahey Health, Stanley Lewis, MD, is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for short- and long-term growth of the system, including strategic planning, business development, identification and execution of strategic alliances, joint ventures, and partnerships.
Stan was Chief System Development and Strategy Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), where he led expansion and integration efforts within the Beth Israel Deaconess system, and oversaw key strategic partnerships, clinical programs and service line planning, and new business development opportunities. He was previously Senior Vice President for Network Integration and Associate Chief for Clinical Cardiology at BIDMC. Stan is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
As a participant in the six-year biomedical program, Stan received his undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Tufts–New England Medical Center and his fellowship in cardiology at Yale University.
Stan resides with his family in Newton Centre.
